CATHRYN BECK
Registered Provisional Psychologist

My goal is to help you maximize your fullest potential on and off the playing field, as well as provide helpful strategies to help you achieve your goals. Many obstacles can present themselves in our daily lives that can be overwhelming, confusing, or uncomfortable.  This can leave us feeling disconnected from our experiences, goals, and ultimately our lives. By removing barriers that may prevent you from performing optimally, you make space for a bigger opportunity to grow, learn, and develop more self-awareness and to get a closer, deeper look at what you are capable of. I believe the difference between a dream and a goal is the plan and the work that you must put in day in and day out, to get there. Having the right skills and mindset makes all the difference, not only in your game but in business performance as well. I truly believe that working on mental health as well as mental skills leads to optimal performance in work and life. Naturally, athletes love competition and testing themselves against the best in their field, which is why it is vital they know the importance of a positive attitude and mental toughness. Athletes want every possible advantage they can get, including the mental edge over the competition.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been inspired to work in the field of psychology, which has driven me to pursue my deep-rooted passion for helping people understand and tap into their inner strength.  By working through any obstacles that are getting in the way of your best game performance/best-self, you will notice an increase in life satisfaction. Using a client-centred and tailor-made approach, I will help you feel and do your absolute best!  I will help you get clear on your vision, develop a plan with well-defined goals and strategies, so that you may improve your outcomes and achieve sustained results.
